Crowstone Manor has an informal and homely atmosphere with friendly carers who are always ready and willing to help our residents.

The carers are trained in all aspects of care for the elderly and are able to provide high quality care of a personal nature round the clock.

They will also assist residents taking trips out to use local amenities, help and encourage residents to pursue their hobbies and listen to any problems or difficulties the residents may encounter

The carers support and encourage our residents to be as independent as possible - which in turn helps to maintain their pride and dignity.

We also respect each resident's right to privacy and understand that there will be times when individuals want to be alone.

We have regular visits from a hairdresser, a mobile library, a chiropodist, a dentist and an optician. Residents can choose to use these services in the home or to make their own arrangements outside.

We provide a safe and secure environment with nurse call and fire detection systems in every room, a comfortable passenger lift for those who prefer not to use the stairs and a variety of aids, such as special bathing facilities, designed to make day-to-day living easier.

We can cater for permanent or short-stay residents and would be delighted to show you around - no appointment necessary
